An urban angel in our midst
Went kids clothes shopping at lunchtime and was surprised to find that V has graduated into the "urban angels" range at Pumpkin Patch. I thought that was just for teenagers! This is all happening way too fast!
On a happier note, she actually asked me tonight if I could BUY her a book. She has just finished reading Roald Dahl's 'The Twits' and pronounced it "the funniest book I have ever read" and said she would really love to have a copy of her own. This is a real red letter day for us as the only books V has ever read voluntarily from cover to cover have been Go Girl books and she hasn't even been interested in those lately. We may just make a reader out of her yet!

Oh, and we have a number of Roald Dahl's in our collection here - big, big fans. If you'd like to borrow any for V we have The BFG, James and the Giant Peach, Matilda, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, The Magic Finger and Fantastic Mr Fox. Think we might even have Boy floating around somewhere.
Thanks FG. We have a few too but not BFG or Fantastic Mr Fox. Are either of those ones you would describe as humourous in the same way as "The Twits" (which I have not read)? Think V considers Matilda, James and the Giant Peach, The Witches, Charlie etc as too dark to be appealing (although she loves the film of Matilda).
Re Urban Angel, the clothes actually start from size 8 (or 3XS)! Think Supre is the same.
