Culture QotW: Rising Gas Prices

Will the rising cost of gasoline change your summer travel plans?

It is only Autumn in Australia so Summer is still a way off.  We have been thinking of taking a Winter driving holiday to the Western Plains Zoo at Dubbo in Western NSW but will now have to factor the cost of fuel into our plans.  As prices are only going to increase more, it might actually provide a reason to go sooner rather than later though.

We are thinking of doing the same - Western Plains Zoo and then onto Adelaide, but the fuel is starting to worry us. May have to settle for a week at the beach!

It is a bummer isn't it? Kids finally old enough to cope with the amount of driving needed to see Western NSW properly and we can't afford to take them. :(
