What lovely children, bless their hearts!
Thank you. :) They were very proud of themselves.
[this is good]
Yeah. We definitely can see how happy and proud they're :)
My sons are all grown now, so it's always a pleasure reading about moms and their younger children. It brings back a lot of happy memories. I like to see mothers enjoying time with their children, too, because their childhood speeds by......
Yes, doesn't it just! Do your sons like to cook, Patricia?
Whoa! Funny you should mention that. I have two who swear by In-N-out Burger, one feels he can cook because, like his dad, my husband, he can microwave and heat things ,and the other is a gourmet cook who has taken my recipes and made them better! My dad was from a family of five boys, all of whom cooked, and my uncle owned a bakery/restaurant up until the day of his death at 80 years old. His sons own it now. So we go all the extremes. I think it's wonderful that you ar teaching your chidlren to cook. It's a healthy and important skill.
Interesting how the same nurturing can produce such different outcomes! My kids also very different in their likes and dislikes etc so imagine they will turn into very different adults too. Your dad's family sounds great!
That's true. They all have their own minds and spirits.....Thanks, My uncle just passed away a year ago and he is still so missed. The Xmas before this past one, he cooked for 25 guests. Some of the guests brought people along he hadn;t met and he cokked for the, too! It was one of the best Christmasas......
My condolences, Patricia. He sounds like he was an amazing guy.
How sweet of you. It's the cycle of life, still...we always miss those who pass, even if they lived ful and happy lives as my uncle did.
