Self Portrait Thursday: Sleeping Beauties
Those who have been reading of my son's adventures with the scissors over the past few days will be able to tell that this portrait was not taken today but pre-haircut:
My son likes to climb into bed with me in the morning and pretend to go back to sleep with his nose pressed against my face. It is my favourite time of day. My daughter in contrast likes to stay in her own bed and is usually grumpy as a bear when she does get up. They are definitely Yin and Yang those two.

My son was the same apart from he slept with me full stop from 0 -4yrs. He would hold my ear. Oh memories. Happy ones.
My daughter was too much of a fidget and did like to cuddle but was like a radiator!!! Poor girl got banished from my bed pretty soon.
Sweet photo.
Sweet, Kelly. :) My son is actually too much of a fidgeter to sleep with us all night. When we went on holidays last year and had to squash the whole family into one hotel room (typically one big bed and one small foldaway bed), everyone was fighting over who got to sleep in the single bed away from J and his kicking! (He was also just out of night nappies at that point so that was another danger of sharing a bed with him!).
