Translation please

I can't speak Chinese, but my Dad can and he just helped me to translate it for you. He said it literally means: "Foong Family Praises Spring"(?)
Really? How bizarre! I had assumed it said something kung fu related. No wonder we get funny looks.
Oh and please thank your dad from me, Connie. :)

Count ya blessings it didn't say

This kid kicks arse so back the f**k off!

Ha ha, Reney! Remember hearing about a guy who tried to get 'Year of the Monkey' tattooed on his arm in Chinese characters but ended up with 'Monkey of the Year' instead!
Spoke to one of the Chinese instructors at Kung Fu last night and he said that the first character is Foong (I think he said Foong was the founder of the style of kung fu), the second character a possessive and the 3rd and 4th together mean Wing Chun (the name of the type of Kung Fu) but could have been read as something else as they have other meanings as well, eg, the 4th character also means garden. I'm pretty sure most people seeing the shirt probably read it the same way as Connie's father though. Chinese must be a very hard language to learn to read! I gave up on Japanese when we started on the Kanji (pictographs) as I just couldn't cope with it.
