Vox Hunt: Dream Pet

Show us a picture of the pet you'd most like to have in your life.

Actually this is my son's dream pet. I had to explain to him why we couldn't keep a panda at home. He would also quite like a dinosaur.

My dream pet, on the other hand, would be a dog that cleaned up after itself - obviating the need for this:

And no we do not subject our dog Mollie to this level of doggy indignity!

I had occasion to take the kids to a 'dog park' in Sydney's Leichhardt yesterday. We stopped for a drink at this cafe: Cafe Bones

The cafe seems to be somewhat of an inner west institution for those who like to take their beloved pooches out for a 'puppacino' or similar.

The aroma was a little bit pungent and rather too noisy to have much of a conversation.

The four-legged cafe set seemed to be enjoying themselves though and the kids took it all in their stride - and thought it all completely normal!
