Actually looks a bit boyish.  I am going to have to play around with styling it myself I think. 

I have an appointment to get my hair cut at lunch time today.  I find the thickness really annoying in hot or damp weather so thinking of going really short.  Will have to convince my hairdresser though as he seems a bit hesistant about cutting too short.  Maybe he just doesn't think it would suit me and doesn't want to say that.  My hair is pretty fast growing though so I am not too fussed about it, ie, if I get it cut short and it looks awful, it won't take too long to grow back out again.  Will try and post an after-haircut shot this afternoon.

Looking at this also makes me realise that I am due for a haircut as my hair has grown quite a lot since this picture was taken.  I am thinking of going even shorter this time as it will be much easier for summer.  Still debating whether I am vain enough to pack my hair straightener when we go away to the island for two weeks at Christmas.  I'm sure noone else there bothers with this kind of thing and will be a major pain if I am swimming and getting my hair wet every day.

This is not from today but from when we were on holidays.  This is taken next to one of the dams on the property where we were staying.

These photos are from the cottage where we stayed.  It was really, really nice and relaxing (apart from one night when the people in the next door cottage had their music and tv on too loud - my husband got them back though by playing his Mongolian throat singing CD really loudly at 7am the next day - didn't hear a peep out of them after that). 

This first one is from the owner's website so not quite the same as the way we found it, ie, different flowers in bloom etc.

One of the complimentary dogs that came with the cottage.  Actually the dogs - two 10 year old border collies - resided at the owner's house but would take turns coming down for a visit.  The kids loved them.

If any Sydney-siders are interested in finding out more about this place, just send me a message.  You have to promise not to book it next Easter though! 

This is not a very good photo but I wanted to show the necklace I got from mum for my birthday (actually I chose it myself).  Although not gold, I wanted something that would go with my gold jewellery and not look too try hard (as in trying too hard to be gold).  The chain is quite interesting too.  I really like it and have worn it just about every day since I got it.
