I am tagging myself after seeing this on Emjay's blog:

The rules of the game get posted at the beginning. Each player answers the questions about themselves. 1) What was I doing 10 years ago?

I was attending a friends 30th birthday party and two days off getting pregnant for the first time! (Is this TMI?)

2) What are 5 things on my to-do list for today?

Advertise that the project I have been working on is open for public consultation.
Tidy up my atrociously messy desk.
Think of something to have for dinner (or I could leave that one for my husband as he is the one finishing work early tonight!)
Talk to my mum on the phone (I actually phoned her this morning but she wasn't answering - she will probably ring me back later.
Listen to my son reading his readers and go over my daughter's homework (if she gets it done by Wednesday, she is allowed to have a friend over after school on Thursday).

3) Snacks I enjoy:

Yoghurt, bananas, passion fruit, potato chips and my latest discovery (which I believe come from New Zealand and are the most delicious thing ever)!

Unfortunately, my only 'supplier' about three blocks away so I will have to go for a walk now that I have been reminded of these!

4) Things I would do if I were a billionaire:

Travel, teach, learn, set up my own schools or get involved in some other project to make a difference to the lives of children or young people, ensure all my family and friends are financially secure.

5) Places I have lived:

Melbourne, Canberra, Jakarta, Sydney

6) Jobs I have had:

Checkout chick (aka sales assistant), Santa's helper, car wash attendant, trade union worker, public servant

Still getting the hang of how to style it. Will try using the hair straightener after the next time I wash it.

another haircut option

Been trying to post this photo in place of the emu but can't seem to get it to work. It is when my hair was cut in a bob style (about 18 months ago). A bit hard to see with the wind blowing it but I did quite like this style.
