Had a bit of a snicker in the car last night when the announcer on the radio introduced one of his colleagues as the Emperor Nasi Goreng. For those not in Australia, the term comes from this very clever and succesful advertisement for Telstra's broadband internet services. I was telling my husband about it last night and he commented that it would make a good t-shirt design, ie, a little emperor sitting like an egg atop a throne of nasi goreng istimewa (special fried rice).
