My son took this when he was lounging around in my bed playing with my phone while I was trying to get him to get up and get ready for school so I could go to work. I kind of like it as it shows the morning chaos from quite a different perspective.
I also don't usually show the light fittings in my photos. They are really pretty wild in this house we are renting (that is one of the more conservative ones).
Oh and if anyone has been wondering where I have been lately, the office net nanny has started blocking access to Vox. Apologies for not commenting on anyone's posts lately. I don't think I am ever going to be able to catch up now.
Those who have been reading of my son's adventures with the scissors over the past few days will be able to tell that this portrait was not taken today but pre-haircut:
My son likes to climb into bed with me in the morning and pretend to go back to sleep with his nose pressed against my face. It is my favourite time of day. My daughter in contrast likes to stay in her own bed and is usually grumpy as a bear when she does get up. They are definitely Yin and Yang those two.
Was going to nick over and see the Archibald exhibition at lunchtime today but saw that the entry price actually includes entry to three exhibitions so thought I might try and go next week when I can take a longer lunchbreak.
