What role did you play in your school play?

I remember being in the chorus for Joseph and His Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat and that is about it for school really. 

I was also in a few choirs and one time got to play a cleaner sweeping the stage before the dancers sprang onto the stage for No Business Like Show Business! 

I was in a couple of Indonesian plays at university.  The most memorable was my role as an ant in a very avant garde show about a boy trying to find the meaning of life.  I still remember my line (note singular here) which was "Di mana pinggir dunia?" ("Where is the edge of the world?"). I also played a robot and a blind beggar in this play.  My loyal friends all came to cheer me on despite them not understanding a word of Indonesian.

I had a (slightly) bigger role as a kampung schemer in the next year's play (N Riantiarno's fantastic "Bom Waktu") but most of my lines were cut to save on time! 

As you can imagine, I didn't feel particularly encouraged to follow this experience up with a career in show biz.
